Strange knocking from front - ideas?
Ive got a strange metallic 'clonk' emminating from my Spider.
It *sounds* like its coming from the front right, but these things can often fool us.
The car just had its MOT last week and passed no problem - one CV gaiter was replaced, and the others were done in December - I guess we can assume they are OK.
Both lower arms are almost new OE.
Suspension turrets and springs/top mounts are <8k miles old. (-30mm Eibach and KYB dampers).
The car does have a Wiechers strut brace. Everything looks OK down there!
It only happens when turning RIGHT, but never when left.
It almost sounds like its a release of tension, it doesnt do it all the time - approx 1 time in 5 when making a right turn at medium/low speeds.
Any pointers appreciated.
