new cam belt /timing

I recently had a new cam belt fitted to my Alfa Spider 2.0 TS (2003). Is there any simple way of checking my timing as it doesn't seem to be running as well as prior to the job being done. I asked the garage to check it, they say its fine.

cheers .

You'd need the engine specific cam locks and a dial gauge to check it.
The same as you need to change it properly...

Was it an Alfa garage?
