916 spider ecu coding and immobiliser

My spider wouldnt recognize the key due to immobiliser failure. This is a common problem with older cars. I dont have the brown master key in common with many other owners, but I have to say I was/am very impressed with the service from Holland and schepersautotechniek as per their web site and various other posts, and the car is now fine and no more problems of this kind I hope- a very quick ,communicative and efficient service, given that dealers say it cant be done - of course it can. its just a bit of a pain to get the ecu off as you need long/extended sockets or prehensile fingers under the passenger dash
