Bilstein or Koni shock +ebich spring for TS Spider

Throwing this question out to the UK owners,

Ive realized Im unable to sell my car in the current market so might as well keep it for a while.

My shocks are shot and I keep bottoming out most bumps and speed humps even at low speed. Bilstein or koni shocks to with eibach springs is the go i think.

Price for Eibach spings and Bilstein shocks are as follows

-Eibach springs 130 ... :1352.html

-Front Bilstein B6 shocks x 2 388 ... :1306.html

-Rear Bilstein B6 shocks x 2 256 ... :5077.html

Total $986 AUD (not including shipping)

-Eibach springs 130 ... :1352.html

-Front Koni shocks x 2 377 ... :1306.html

-Rear Koni Shocks x 2 205 ... :5077.html

Total $911 AUD (not including shipping)
Havnt found any coilover kits at that price yet.

Id love the sport ride and sharp handling but also nothing too harsh or unbearably hard.

Bilstein better the Koni?

Coilover kits you see advertised are normally designed for the track. Hard springs and short stroke dampers.

Great if you have really smooth roads. You can look at K+W KW Suspension - suspension from the leading experts. I think they do the variant 1 and 2 for the GTV.

Never been very keen on Koni's as the adjustment is only for rebound. So if you turn them up to their hardest on a bumpy road you run out of damper as it never gets time to recover from each bump.

There isn't any real alternatives for the GTV, other than standard dampers. Or I think you can still get Bilstein for the 2.0, they are good dampers.
