Head lining problems

Mines falling down it's becoming annoying, has anyone had similar problems? My understanding is it's due to failing foam backing behind the material. I cant see how to remove the board without damaging it. Or slide in a refurbished one without causing more damage. I'm at a loss..

Help please.

You're right, it's not the glue that fails, it's the foam that disintegrates, and trying to re-glue it never works! You can get new foam-backed headlining material from a trimming/upholstery shop. You do have to scrape all the old foam off (it crumbles off easily) and then use contact adhesive to secure the new material, taking suitable care to get it on straight as you only get one shot. Either use the 3M spray adhesive (other spray adhesives are often too weak), or use Ados F3 (rather than F2) but expect to spend quite a while spreading it out - in the open air rather than a garage!
