This is a first for me so be kind, I have owned a GTV 2.0 TSpark for about 2 years and have spent a lot of time on her, I recently broke down and was recovered home with the green flag man totally bewildered, he mentioned all kinds of things, but the next day I had a look and discovered that the inlet pipe on the fuel injection system had a small hole in it. I cut off the perished part of the pipe and replaced it onto the system. It started straight away but I now have no acceleration and a small backfire, it will tick over but I have to pump it to get the revs up thats when there is an intermittent backfire. Has anyone come across this problem in the past ?
