I may just sell my GTV, the MOT is out and the Airbag light is on so i was going to remove the under seat connectors and solder the wires. removed the carpets and found rust and some holes this is all repairable i just do not know if i should get it sorted and take it for an mot or sell it as it is
Wonderful engine, belts and bits done 12 months ago (with receipt), approx 107k.
Now this is one hell of a good engine, certainly no slouch....this could have something to do with a certain man called Gus (Alfatune) popping one of his 'chips' in her, along with the K&N filter in the standard housing a straight carbon pipe instead of the resonator and a powerflow (from a proper dealer) exhaust with a wolfrace sports cat (for a 2.0 it sounds fantastic)
Good suspension with Eibach 20mm lowering springs, Brembo front discs with DS2500 pads and braided hoses.
I have checked all the lights (Hid's fitted) and wipers etc, all spot on, tyres fine, Kumho ecstas on 17" sele wheels in dark grey, sunroof all keys inc master, 2 alarm fobs which auto release the boot, spacesaver, jack, tools all present, locking wheel nuts. Black leather interior.
No MOT, no tax (on disability) some holes in floor, drivers seat bolster split, being a phase 1 it came with black skirts and they have been colour matched, the paint on them and the lower half of the front bumper has been 'scoured' there are some blooms in the paintwork (it came from the factory with them and they are not instantly noticeable) having painted,
, that gloomy picture in fairness she polishes up well and as i am sure some AO'ers will testify she goes bloody well, now i appreciate that i will not get great money, who wants to give me £400.......
