You can never get a dent out completly.. the metal has been stretched so therefore can never go back to its original shape.. well not without removing the wing and spending a hell of a lot of time with a hammer and torch..
A thin skim of filler to finish is perfectly ok and is the norm.. even some brand new cars have filler in places..
'Lead loading' or 'leading' is not often practiced anymore.. and in fact it is no better than properly applied chemical filler.. It's just the old fashioned way of doing it.. and it can be very painful when a blob of molten lead drops into your boot..
I think that whatever method is used the rust proofing galvanising will be compromised.. I would just get some waxoyl or similar in there.. no panic though it would take ten years for rust to appear..
