Sorry to jump on someone else's thread but hopefully this may assist others in doing what I am attempting to...
I'm going to be attempting the replacement of this pipe in the next few days. I've started an attempt to take the inlet manifold off. I know it's possible to remove the existing hose with it still fitted (as that's what I did when removing the replacement I have from my GTV) but in order to be happy I've made a good connection with the new pipe I want to have as much access and visibility as possible...
Anyway, hit a bit of a wall with the progress. I've removed all of the wiring out of the way and the throttle is off with the breather pipes from the air filter housing etc. I've undone the bolt bottom nearside end of the intake box, undone all 8 clips and slip the intake box off the inlet manifold holes. It now feels a little loose but not completely disconnected from within the car... Anyone out there who can guide me a little further as to whether there is anything else to undo / remove before the intake box can slide to the right / up and out of the car...?? I've had a good look at the workshop manual and am a little stumped...!!!
Cheers in advance, Cluffy
