GTV Rear suspension epic mot fail
My GTV has just been mot'd and its failed on, amongst other things:
- The rear suspension arm rubber bush bonding deteriorated resulting in excessive movement.
Offside and nearside.
The tester reckons the suspension arm has a rubber bush in the middle which is worn, and on phoning Alfa dealer, they say they can only replace the whole arm, at a cost of approx£900 for the arms, never mind labour!
This makes the whole thing an uneconomical repair really so Im gutted. He did say that its worth asking around if there are places that do the rubber bush, as he thinks the arms would ake them if they could get some. Does anyone know if this can be done, else my GTV which Ive only owned for 6 months is a gonna.
