Mot fail?

Hi folks.

One of the fixings on my cat is sheared and no time to drill it out and fit a new one. It was blowing at the joint with the downpipe.
However the remaining three fixings are there and I have placed a small g clamp in place to seal it temporarily. All is working as it should.
My mot retest is due. Only failed on tyres and missing cat
Will the g-clamp go through the mot?

As it is clearly a temporary fixing, it may not.

Surely it wouldn't have taken long to drill the old broken stud out?

Cordless drill has given up the ghost and won't have time to do it before the retest.

Can you not drop into an exhaust place/backstreet garage on the way and get then to do a temporary weld on it. Just enough to fix it and allow you to cut the weld later. If a G clamp fixes it, you really won't need more than a tiny spot of weld.
