Well Hello..

Just thought i'd introduce myself.. I'm looking at purchasing a 3.0GTV as a weekend classic.. I have seen the "what to look for 2.0L" section and wondered if you can point me in the right direction for more info.

What to look for?

I have my eye on a local car slightly different colour gray not silver with red interior, FSH
is this a standard colour or special order combination.

always loved the car but now I'm old enough to get classis insurance at £157 for the car its a no brainer.

I'm looking to keep long term.

many thanks..

Much the same as the 2.0L really although you haven't got variator to worry about. As long as belt is changed at proper interval and arms, suspension, bushes etc seem ok. Original Alfa oil cooler pipes are no longer available and front discs can be prone to warping. Otherwise, just sensible investigation as you would with the purchase of any car.
