Thinking of selling. Black V6 , Zenders, Full Red Style interior
It could be that time. The garage has been turned into an extra living room for the kids, I have a T5 van I need to keep for the business and there could be a company car / allowance on the way as I will be on the road a lot in the next few years. If I had a garage I would keep her as a play thing but I don't think its right not to use her and leave her on the drive.
Maintained regardless of cost by previous owners (lots of history)
In my ownership last 2 years I have spent £2400 (see costs pdf, mainly at cost as I and my mechanic friend have done the work together) on sensible upgrades and maintenance. This is not an unreliable car its been a hobby so I have spent not to repair,I have spent through some sort of sick enjoyment which is what hobby's do to you.
What do you think its worth ?. You could be picky and spend some money on the black paint, removing some small parking dents and removing the tint film on the rear screen as its starting to bubble. That's continuing hobby ownership territory.
Its smooth and revs to redline without any issues. This is corker of an engine.

I reckon you have one of the most gorgeous GTV's that I have seen. I absolutely love the red dash and contrasting black and red - I would certainly give it a good home; however finances dictate otherwise at the moment. If I was you I would do whatever to hold onto her!
I have thought of renting a garage or even buying an industrial unit and renting space to other car enthusiasts and make it a communal car club area. ... but about 14 years ago I put my restored mgbgt in the garage as I needed a diesel car to do my 70 mile commute. I didn't open the garage door in 6 years and sold the MG for a few hundred quid when I sold the house. Cars are made to be used. Still I am taking it to work all next week while the vans off the road. Who knows I may think twice.
