I recommend you get at the Alternator from above rather than below. ie: Remove intake Plenum, this is the worst part about the whole job as its bolted to the engine block in a very awkward place via a stand, i recommend rather than undoing the two awful screws at the top just undo the lowest one that bolts to engine block, remove induction assembly, throttle body and disconnect all the sensors and remove fuel rail, once the intake plenum is off you will see alternator down the bottom on the back left hand corner of the engine bay, undo connections to back of it and then remove Alternator belt and now finally remove two bolts that hold it in place and wiggle it free. Reverse the process for installing new Alt, give yourself a full day if you have never done this before, otherwise i reckon it can be done in 2-3 hours.
