Boot lid out of bonk!!!

Guys, my boot lid seems to be in need of adjustment. The shut lines on the drivers side are out by a little, maybe 15-20mm. Is there easy adjustment? is this a DIY job or do I need professional help.

Your thoughts gratefully received.

If you look at the corners of the lid, you'll see a rubber stop. That stop can be screwed in or out ( if it doesn't want to move, try lubricating the slots with washing up liquid ). However, if you adjust those, you may have to adjust the catch as well. To do that, remove the boot lining carpet and the lock behind the rear lights can be adjusted up and down by slackening the bolts and re tightening.

Not sure there's enough adjustment on the rubber stops for 15mm though...

If it was that far out I don't think the boot would close anymore...
