Friday 13th = Gearbox leak...
I have a 2.0 Twinspark Spider. Woke up on the 13th to be greeted by a small puddle of gearbox oil.....it is dripping from the bell housing and is definitely gearbox oil (Can tell from the smell!!) It's not leaking from the drive shaft seals so I can only assume it is the input shaft seal? If this is the case I'm guessing it is gearbox out and reconditioned. I don't think I can conduct this sort of operation at home, how much do you think it will cost? I will probably have to sell the car or break it if I cant afford it which is a shame as otherwise it is an incredible car. Anyone interested in purchasing it as a project?
