Hi all, I really hope I'm not breaking any rules when I say this.. but I have one pipe on eBay which might be useful to someone out there. I managed to salvage both original solid metal pipes and had a local firm crimp on new braided rubber pipes with new elbows (M22 thread) to go on the new cooler. To be honest it was not the easiest route and in the end no cheaper that buying a complete new pipe... I got the one I'm selling before I started the job and it was the only one available at the time. but if I ever attempted this job again I would deffo just use a complete new pipe set! hopefully that won't happen again for another 10 years at least! I'm no mechanic and was foolish enough to try this job with the use of a garage and pit.... I don't recommend you do it unless you have the right tools and have a few days spare along with another car to run around in - it's not impossible and will save you labour costs, but I can think of better things I would do with the 5 evenings it took to sort out! Search eBay and you will find my pipe if you are interested. Good luck to those that tackle this job alone!
