I've not owned my 2.0 GTV very long but I've already got used to the hairdryer like wind noise coming through the gaps in the windows and despite having more creaks than a haunted house, I can ignore those too. What I can't ignore however are what appear to be mechanical faults. Perhaps someone with a knowledge of clutches superior to mine could give me some advice on this one. When I bought the car, the salesman showed me a receipt for a new clutch which they'd fitted. However, a fault appears to have developed which is getting progressively worse. From cold start-up, when you depress the clutch, it's smooth but when the car gets warmed up, it becomes anything but smooth. It gets notchy and I can feel it clicking (about four times) through full depress - almost as if there is a knackered spring in there or something along those lines. Any ideas?
