Crazed Cybox heads-up

About 2 years ago I fitted a cybox exhaust to my TS, the other week I noticed it sounded a bit "blowy" and a quick look underneath I noticed that the hanger on the output side of the large silencer had pulled away a chunk of the pipe. (See attached image)

This looks like a weak link, the hanger is too long and the weld is too small and a small amount of movement will stress the metal around the already stressed weld.

Anyway, an email and a few phone calls and cybox were only too happy to a) ship a replacement strap-on (ooer) hanger and b) pay for someone to take the exhaust off, remove the duff hanger, weld the hole and re-fit with the new hanger.

If I was close to Liverpool I could have taken it in.

No quibbles, no sharp intakes of breath at it being nearly 2 years old, good stuff all round

These things are only as good as the person who welds it.
