Mine is a phase 1, ally top engine with M2.10.4 ECU (although I havn't physically checked this).
Therefore, as I understand it, remapping using an OBD cable is impossible.
Had a very useful chat with Gus at Alfa Tune and he suggested the standard injectors will probably be OK for the boost level we're looking at, and the way forwards is to adapt the standard ECU, which he is able to do... and I think this result will be very polished because he clearly knows his stuff.
A couple of other re-mappers said the way forwards was a piggyback ECU... Now that I understand this option a little better, I am erring in this direction because it allows me to continue to be fully hands-on with the project.... installing the ECU, wiring it up and creating a basic map. However, the eventual cost of a rolling road to set it up properly is still there.
Either route costs about the same, but the 2nd option fits in with my budget, timescales and desire to learn... so... piggyback it is.
