Passenger mirror not right after re-fitting

Hi again,

I have a passenger mirror (nearside door) which doesn’t adjust and the glass feels loose.

I read somewhere on here that it may be wrongly fitted and I pulled the glass off and ensured the nylon ‘racks’ fitted onto the motorised pinions of the electrical adjustment. The whole mirror seems too low and rubs on the bottom of the housing plus the electrical adjustment is not right. The motors ‘whirr’ and the mirror moves, but not as expected.

I am sure this has happened to others, what have I missed in the refitting?

Help please?

PS I guess the two wires that attach to the back of the mirror are for heating?

Thanks, Steve
