I've found ph 2 seats are more comfortable but not as supporting as ph1.
I just bought a ph1 as a stop gap car and my friend has just got a ph2. The seats are more comfortable in a ph2 but the big alfa stiched badge looks better on the ph1 seat rather than the lost small stamped in the leather badge on the ph2 seat. The ph2 seats look slightly better with the stiched channels rather than the slightly bland flat ph1 seat.
The door cards look better on the ph2 due to the stitiched channels again in the leather, ph1 cards are a little bland looking compared.
The ph2 centre console looks much superior than the ph1 but I think the ph1 platics used are of better quality than the slightly plastic cheaper feel of the ph2.
The ph2 armrest is a cool much needed addition if only for the storage container that the ph1 lacks but the armrest is uncomfortable to rest your arm on.
Ph2 interior feels brighter, guess this is it due to it not being black, my friends ph2 is grey\blue'sh colour which I believe to be common in ph2 so the interior feels a little more pleasant to being (not saying ph1 is bad at all just compared
Ph2 dash\console lights look slightly better than the green of the ph1. Both suffer from a silly placement of the boot release
Ph2 badge looks slightly better with its silver edging and ph2 wheels are obviously better looking.
Cant say anything about the engine's but my mates ph2 runs better than mine
Got to say the car has a nice quality retro feeling about it in the ph1, which suits the car well, but the ph2 does look more modern inside and fits better in the other range of Alfas for its time...
