In that case, sorry for being geeky.
But unless I quote the current LPG cost/l (71p) when I quote my 'real' mpg no-one will know what the actual cost is - hence the equivalent mpg tag - just easier to understand in fewer words.
TBH I'm trying to promote LPG for GTV's because, in the current climate, everyone is breaking them as they are too costly to run - but if you can get a great 'equiv' rate (even higher if you convert a TB) with LPG, why don't more people do it. At least that means you can drive them everyday without worrying about your wallet shrivelling up as you drive. And that would mean as a practical everyday car, more people from 'outside' would consider GTV ownership, surely a good thing?
