Evening all bit of an odd one this but, when changing up through gears revs seem to blip up slighty when dipping clutch on my v6 cup, is this normal on a v6 iv only just noticed it doing this. Any help would be appreated.
Never seen that changing up, but I do remember when changing down a few times in my 1st spider, the revs went up - seemed to try and match the higher revs for the next gear, before engaging the gear, only happened when I was driving sportily ! Not noticed it in my current v6. I don't think it is something that Alfa designed, probably only a coincidence when the MAF, lamda sensors, ignition coils etc where playing up
You might have a sticky throttle butterfly or an air leak but I'd expect an unstable idle as well if you had. Might just be an "Alfa-ism"..
