The clutch on my TS has a high biting point. In fact it's about as high as it could possibly be. I've tested it by attempting to pull off in 5th gear and the car stalls without the clutch slipping. It's also never slipped whilst driving. There is sometimes a very very slight crunch going into 2nd gear, but apart from that no crunch. If I press the clutch in 50-75% the clutch works fine with no crunch going into gears. The clutch pedal is also slightly higher than the brake pedal.
Does this suggest the issue lies with the pedal, the clutch or something else?
She's done 88k and I think it's the original clutch. It's been an easy 88k, but it must be on borrowed time regardless of how easy her life has been.
