Was on my way to a meeting heading south on the M1 and spotted a Cup.
it was a 51 plate.

Single exhaust although I am sure it was an oval one and the aeriel was up so that must have been working !!
It looked in good condition .

Managed to shout to the driver whilst the cars were briefly side by side in lanes one and two what number his car was and its a unknown - Number 97

He turned off a few seconds later at Junction 33 so based in Sheffield perhaps ?

I did not have the time to follow and stop him unfortunately and equally did not know until I checked his car was on the unknowns list otherwise I could have told him about AO.

I could kick myself I did not get a picture of the car.

Driven by a long dark haired guy mid 30-mid 40's ish who loved his car by the way he shouted the number.

I gave up counting how many times this one keeps appearing long ago.
Why is it not selling I wonder ?

Chassis number given by yourself, PJiri, is registered WF51YRC as a Cup which is also currently taxed in the UK. The current owner has owned it since March 2005. We have no way of knowing the Cup number without the owner telling us...trust me on this.

So where does this leave you? Check your chassis number carefully, especially where it is stamped in the right hand suspension turret. Can you also check your engine number please?

Clive
Hi there,

That'll be mine! Yes, I've owned it since 2005 and I currently have it in Germany - although I shall be returning it back to the UK in a few weeks because I want to sell it.

It's No. 13 (unlucky for some!) by the way.

Glad to have one of the missing Cups on the list found.
Have you got the Reg and a picture to show us

Hi Alan,

I tried uploading a pic to here but it needs to be moderated, so I've added this to imageshack.

Hi StueyMaco,

I shall be looking for a Cup in the next few weeks once I have sold my house. Perhaps you would be good enough to send me some details on yours, and keep me informed on its sale. I am not superstitious! My email address is pa.dodd@btinternet.com

Many Thanks

Pete

The description reads that this car is one of 150 (should be 155) but does not offer the catual number.
150 is an unknown on the list.
I have sent the seller a message asking for the number

Thanks, I misread 'to 150' as 'no 150'. The interior pic shows a plaque, I didn't look closer before as an engine swap is beyond me, and I was searching on Alfas not Cups.

Thanks, could you take a better picture of the driver's side with the bonnet open, similar to my picture below, but slightly more from the front please?

This would clearly show V6, LHD, Red, Cup interior...something we didn't know existed until recently.

Sorry my picture isn't of a genuine Cup but I haven't needed to take similar shots of the Cups.
