Thank you for the info.

The areal was changed by previous owner as the retractable one was broken and put a new one on the roof for better reception

Hi Warhammer

Could you post a picture of your Ltd plaque number that is mounted on the centre console.

I doubt it, there are a few original Euro/LHD red 2.0 TS Cups, so why not a silver 3.0?

Chassis number, not Ltd Plaque, would prove if it's as originally built.

Hi - new on here and very interested in buying a Cup. Almost bought one back in 2007 but opted for a Celica as my 156 had given me so much grief! My wife's cousin just bought a V6 GT and it has inspired me /brought Alfa memories back. I'm looking for an investment' summer weekend only hobby car.

It seems 122 is still for sale close to me in Sutton Surrey
Alfa Romeo GTV Cup. Upgraded. 11 months MOT For Sale (2002) on Car And Classic UK [C616452]

The great thing about there only being 155 cars means it's easy to find out some history. So I've seen it was sold by a member on here, who did quite a bit of work, a year ago. Before that someone else on here owned it for 6 months but stated that the guy before him had it 7 years. It looks in a bit of state, engine and chassis number must no longer match. So as someone a few pages back says (para phrasing) it needs a big drop in price. Might go and have look though, as a benchmark if nothing else.

I see people post on here if something comes up so I will be keeping a look out!

122 and 155 are restoration projects that will need money invested on them...

150 looks sweet and proper owner. Laquer peel would worry me though but it doesnt look like its effected the sale. Good ones will always sell fast.

Owner's a member on here, it's been for sale since April, advert doesn't give much info re cambelt or any other important renewals ie suspension, servicing etc, fr seats have been repaired, 6 owners + needs paint???

Could be a very good small project for someone though.

Selling my Cup

It is with heavy heart I am finally selling my Cup. I don't get the time/chance to drive her as she should be driven and after lengthy arm twisting by the wife I have put the add on Autotrader if anyone has any interest. It is number 133. If and when the time comes I will pass on where she ends up to keep the list up to date.

I sold Cup 133 today. She is on her original plates now. Reg: YN52 LXS owned by Geoff from Leeds. If this could be updated on the list that would be great.

Seen number 122 for sale in Surrey. Not sure if it's sold yet - waiting to hear back. Says chassis has covered 150,000 miles & had a replacement engine that's covered 72,000
miles. Red so faded paintwork apparently. Reckon that would take away its 'classic' appeal?

I'm hunting down a V6 with little success! Any ideas? Thanks!

That one's been for sale for a wee while now...

Most Cups - being almost entirely red - have a degree of faded paint to them.

Introducing myself as the new (very proud and excited) owner of Cup 150. Located in Surrey, reg. currently as per list but will soon go onto L50 CUP which I have just purchased. Hope to meet other Cup, GTV and Alfa owners at events (probably next year now).
Cheers
