Equally could be an extremely bad thing from a historical servicing point of view but someone knew enough to want to put a quad on it - albeit badly.

Unfortunately a bit too far away for most of us to go and take a nosey.

On the face of it a Cup at 40k mileage should be worth 4-5k ish perhaps more but it really depends on the condition of the car's bodywork, the service history of the engine (belts etc) and the state of the suspension.

It is a really poor ad but then so was the ad for my Cup 125 and it turned out to be a really good example that just needed a suspension rebuild and some TLC.

Alfa GTV Cup

GTV Cup 151

Hi everyone, I don't post very often on here but thought you might like to know that I am the new owner of CUP 151 as I've noticed that it is currently unknown on the cup list.

In terms of previous history, the car has spent the last 6 years in Walsall and has covered 55k miles. The previous owner has made a number of modifications including the popular GTA lightened flywheel and clutch, an Alfaholics SS exhaust and an Autodelta carbon air intake and filter.

My plans are to use it as often as I can and not just hide it away in the garage and I hope for many years of driving with a stupid grin on my face

Anyway, the car's new home is Worcestershire and I've included a few pictures.

Dave

Thanks, i'm really pleased with it. There are a few initial jobs to do, cambelt, thermostat etc. but apart from that she's in good shape

Laser cut: I've been quoted approx 100 initial set up cost for the 1st badge + 10 for each additional........so 200ish for 10, plus vat. Then they need polishing and the edges need smoothing, maybe 5 or 10 each?

Before ordering that many I'd like to see the end product, so would probably just have 2 made but these would then cost approx 80 each.

After the 1st batch set up is reduced to 50.

Are there enough takers for them at 50 each?

Clive

GTV Cup n217

Hi Guys! This is my first post there.

So a month ago I have bought my first car, a GTV.. And not a usual one, it's a Cup, that's why I'm here

So it's a LHD Silver Cup with the 2.0 TS engine, serie limitata n217. I'm from Slovakia. The reg is "LV746DY".

I love the car, I don't think I'll ever sell it The overall condition is 95%, the previous owner was just using the car, but as we know these need some.. ..a lot of love.. so it's going to get it from me There are some things what have to be done. I'll post some better pictures later when I get rid off my awful front licence plate holder and I make some pictures, for now there is only one what I have got - the very first photo of it.

As an evidence of true love I have "re-designed" a t-shirt and bought it from a guy selling Alfa shirts, hats, etc. on ebay for 15 from england.

I'm sorry if I was too long. I'll add the pictures later. Thanks in advance for adding my car to the list.

Best wishes to everyone.
Dave

Ad is decidedly short of info. There's a quad on it albeit one of the pipes is skew whiff. Seller doesn't know much about them perhaps ?
Well, I just bought the car. Pick it up this weekend. Seller also has a 156 GTA so he must know something? Cup has a full service history - dealer and specialist and seller has owned it since it was about 2 years old. It's done 48k. I expect it will need cam belts etc, and doubtless a little TLC... I am about to find out!

We've known for some time, perhaps you'd forgotten?

Check the list as there are now 4 listed.

Do you know for sure that it's been repainted?

We have 3 more European 2.0TS Cups listed as red.

Would be interesting to see the paperwork for the other three "red" TS Cups listed to see if they were originally fresh out the factory in Silver

Hey Guys,
I was just about to come on and sayi bought #74 and I think Clive has done some Jedi mind trick and updated it already! Good work!

Anyone know if the seat and headlining material is available from anywhere?

Afternoon all,

Unfortunately I'm selling my Cup (no.86) and need your good advise.

She's been stored (under cover) for over a year now and as such now needs an MOT, a service and a little TLC - a good polish and if i was being picky, the wheels could do with refurbishing. Overall she is in great original condition.

Now, should I advertise her 'as is' and price accordingly, or do all the work first (which would also mean additional cost of taxing and insuring)?

Sorry if this is wrong place to post, but thought it best to run it past the Cup experts!

Could you start a separate thread for this please?

AO has recently changed the rules re advertising in the forums, so you're now allowed to, + you'll reach more people & there are more experts out in the main forum than visit this thread which is mainly for listing owners & numbers.

Cheers
Clive
