I'm not really selling either GTV or M3 but would let either go for a good offer - I can always buy another in the future and there are loads of other cars I fancy trying out in the meantime. My GTV is close to needing a cambelt really but other than that it is spot-on, great paintwork, great condition mechanically, has equal length front pipes & an amazing Wizard cat-back exhaust, and an Alfa tune remap. It feels close to being as quick as a GTA, but the remap and front pipes do help there. 17" Teledials, red, black leather, 6speed, spoiler etc.
The JTS engine is just a bit problematic, besides from the usual Twinspark issues such as short cambelt change interval, oil thirst and weak bottom end, the JTS also suffers from excess camshaft wear, fuel injector problems, coking up resulting in low power, lambda sensor/wiring issues etc etc. If you like the new grille then the 3.2 is the safest option but it will be out of your budget. The 2001-2003 3.0 are nice but a bit dearer as they are newer and I don't think they go as well as the 98-00 model which only has 1 cat instead of 4, they don't sound as good either.
