To get back to what this thread is about I would like to say that I love the seats in my Spider, they look fantastic and are very firm but comfortable to sit on for long a motorway cruise.
But as soon as I need to change direction (even at fairly low speeds) I find my top half sliding side to side, drive in a more spirited manner and Im wedging my right elbow against the door, my left leg against the centre console and left arm against the armrest.
And as all of us who have raced or rallied know you cannot drive quickly if you are not relaxed in the car, if you are tensing to stop yourself moving around in the seat you cannot fully enjoy the driving experience and lets face it that is why we are all here, because we enjoy driving.
I also drive a volvo v70 with leather seats but dont have the same problem, the seats in that just hold you in.
Anyway I for one will be looking seriously at doing something along the lines of Sensingsys clever little mod.
