Thanks, I bet you like 'Gold Cup' as well.

The paintshop uses a 'tape' that you place the badge onto & the glue sticks to that when you remove it, ready to stick to the car. I've no idea what it's called though.

VHB (Very High Bond) tape is excellent stuff for putting badges on, I'm properly cynical about adhesives too as I like to bolt things on usually...badges needed a more subtle approach though.
Apparently it was originally designed to locate body panels and spoilers in place.

Comes in various sizes, clear with red carrier film usually, plenty on eBay.

Aye, tis good stuff for sure, looked at all sorts of rubbish before buying this tape.

I have used it on my Pininfarina badges/shields, and also to secure my HID ballast/igniter on the passenger side where I could find nothing to bolt them to!
Also useful when I was doing work on speakers and replacement aerial, properly impressed and I keep trying to dream up things I can stick together with it...

As I get older I am more easily impressed by such things

There are/were 3 V6s, 1 original UK supplied the other 2 were 'personal' imports.

thanks for confirming that clive i thought their was 3 V6s,i must have a record of it somewhere,i was on the understanding only by word of mouth thro, that all zoe yellow gtv"s had to be imported in to the uk as alfa romeo uk didnt supply that colour,

maybe you could share some light on that
