Not the easiest thing in the world to do but perfectly possible for the beginner. Was a lot more hard work than I thought it would be but generally quite satisfying.
Breaker Bar (Those caliper bolts are VERY tight)
19mm Long socket
12mm Long socket (for the locator pin)
Wire brush (cleaning up the caliper)
Big hammer (hitting things, made me feel better when the locator pin wouldnt come out)
Flat screwdriver (scraping the crud out of the runners for the brake pads)
HUGE G-Clamp (pushing the piston back in)
Torque Wrench (I didnt have one so just did them up as tight as I could)
What would have made it easier? : Impact Wrench
Injuries? : 3 skinned knuckles, sore shoulder and knee (dont kneel on a screwdriver)
If you have not done it before leave plenty of time, took me saturday 12-7 and sunday 11-4 to get it done, second one was a lot easier (apart from the locator pin) since I knew basically what I was doing.
'Value' Socket sets are basically useless for stuff this tight, the entender bar of mine shattered trying to undo one of the caliper bolts.
Oh and dont sit on your tube of copperslip!
