I have FX coilvers which have good and bad points.
Almost elminated torque steer and provides prescision front end steering with little nose dipping under braking with DS3000 pads which, believe me, can be like hitting a wall.
(I now have DS2500 front and DS performance rear).
Rear damping is too soft hence can bounce on uneven road surfaces. Rear springs could also do with being firmer. I think this set up was intended
by FK as I understand such a set up can help reduce understear, which it does
. While this may work on the smoth track, on the road it can be anoying and un-nerving when trying to press ahead on an undulating country lane
I propose to replace rear shocks with adjustable Konis or Bilsteins and perhaps the rear springs with Eibach. I will only replace the springs if Eibach's will fit the FX spring height adjustment hence giving me the ability to adjust height and cross-weight. Note, I am fully powerflexed.....well the car is.
Advice from those who know would be very welcome
