Sump plug tightness?

I'm about to do my first oil change on a GTV 3.0 v6. Is there a specific tightness recommended for the sump plug? Also, exactly what tool is supposed to remove the plug (total newbie!). Where's the best place to jack up the front end from? Anything i should really look out for? Thanks in advance...

The way I do it is to drive it up on to some ramps. You only need an allen key to undo the sump plug, not exactly sure which size as I can't remember. As for tightness, tight enough so that it does not leak but it doesn't have to be ridiculously tight, as long as you put a brand new washer on.
