the battery in my 2.5 156 is the same as my GTV not sure about the twinnys though

It depends what rating the 156 battery is, but up to a point any good condition 12v battery will work, if your charging system is in good condition.....so yes!

As long as it fits. I doubt that the very large battery that was in my 2.4 jtd 20v would fit the space in the back of the gtv and I am not sure that I would manage to lift it into place
