£651 to be precise - we were trawling ebay for a cheapo Punto and spotted the gtv with 5 minute to go
. Came with 18" chrome alloys and four brand new Marangoni tyres (receipt from Kwikfit for £440) which just happen to fit my GT (tyres that is - the chrome rims will soon be on ebay).
I have fitted a new exhaust, new front discs and pads, new cv boots and rear shockers. I also replaced the timing belts - they had been done three years previous but there was a bit of a whine so I decided to replace them. Turned out to be the power steering pump but better safe than sorry. I have a spare ps pump if it gets worse.
Also gave it a change of oil and filters.
Previous owner did the powerflex bushes and fitted lowered springs. There were two naff plastic Alfa badges on the front "wings". One was covering a bad scuff so a mate did a "smart repair" in exchange for the chav Ripspeed stereo that came fitted (nice silver JVC one there now
The 16" teledials came from the Sportwagon but I have a spare set of 17" teledials waiting to go on - or they might end up on the 'wagon.
