My beloved 2.0 JTS 2003 Spider requires a second cambelt change. My current odometer reads 44,303miles (71,300km) and my car has done (20,753miles) 33,400km since the last cambelt service 3 years ago. I gained confidence after reading through the forum and decided to order some parts for another cambelt service. I was wondering if any experts out there can shed some light on this issue. Do you think there's anything I missed out? Would you recommend changing the cam aux belts as well (i.e. bal/aux bets fix/adj tens) I would appreciate any advise
Here are the parts I ordered for the next cambelt service:
-cambelt kit (1XC/BELT DAYCO, 1XB/BELT DAYCO, 3XTENS SKF+OE)
-gasket rocker cover
-gasket rocker seal (spark plug seal?) x4
-spark plugs x4
These were replaced 3 years ago:
-Replaced timing belt
-Replaced poly-V belt
-Replaced tensioner sand adjusted valve timing (replaced balance belt, belt tensioner, JTS R/C Gasket)
