Stalling on tickover
I have owned a 1998 916 Spider V6 3litre now since it was 3 months old which was converted from a left hooker under Alfa warranty in 1999.
Have done around 65K and hardly had a problem with it other than a faulty replacement alternator that it turned out was dropped on installation by some clumsy mechanic which I got replaced FOC.
Had it off the road for 18 months until April this year and since then have done around 500 miles. For the past 200 miles or so there has been a slight hunting on tickover, which I guess did not really concern me, but yesterday for the first time it stalled on tickover at 3 times whilst stopped at junctions.
Is the tickover adjustable or can the you guys out there who have more knowledge than me provide some advice? Many thanks in advance
