Not entrirely suprised. When I called DS UK the guy got into a tiz because different makers were quoting different specs (number of splines etc.) so we double checked both ends. He voulenteered to swap without being asked.
As far as I know, the only real change (on Twinnies) is to the ABS ring, but I have a feeling this didn't coincide with Phase 1 - 2 changes. I would put money that both early and late joints appear on a whole range of cars, such as 147s but, of course probably wern't introduced at exactly the same time.
Mine is the later ABS with lots of teeth round the main casing. It certaily has a circlip on the inner centre.
