The overall cost soo far is £300 for a brand new Eaton M45, £100 all in for samco hoses, aluminium intercooler, Aluminium pipework, The most annoying part is the installation as this will take the most time.
With regards to Internals, It's a risk i'm willing to take, at low boost it shouldn't be stressed too much, the chap who owns the 145 Supercharged goes like stink and hasn't had a single problem with it.
You can get a good condition Eaton M45 on ebay for £150 or less with all the original equipment and mounts, however, they wont do any good as they're the wrong size and connection!
Weight reduction on the GTV can be done but not by as much as owners would like, due to the weight of the rear end (400Kg?),
There's no point in buying high lift cams, chipped ecu, lightened flywheel unless you have a lot of cash, I personally wouldn't pay £800 for AD's high lift cams if they only give 12bhp more power!
Overall, the supercharger is the way to go, Less to go wrong, the engine will run without it in event of failure unlike a knackered turbo etc. Once i've finally put it all together, I hope people follow in my foot steps
