Over the last few months, I've been really contemplating selling the GTV due to wanting a bit more performance, but to be honest, there's sod all cars out there in the average mans budget that have good looks and power.
I've had an M45 sitting in the garage since last year which is brand spanking new from a cooper S,
I've decided i'm gonna keep the blooming car and do some aggressive tinkering, Might aswell seeing as they're becoming rarer by the minute!
First things first though, I need help on where to put it etc, I've looked about but it's just such a rare job that no one has bothered apart from the AD conversions knocking around!
I've got a 10 tonne pipe bending kit so i'll be fitting all my own custom alu pipework and samco joiners etc,
Does anyone have a bit of experience of doing it themselves? The only way i've found soo far is by mounting it below the Exhaust Manifold and powering off the aux belts, I don't mind doing it this way, will give me a chance to rip the front end off and give her a good seeing to etc!!!
Any help is appreciated, I'd like to get as much oomph as I can, haven't even started with the exhaust either, Tempted to tig up a stainless straight through pipe with just a small backbox on the rear but with a twist, I've got a DB9 butterfly exhaust valve kit which I would love to add for a bit of back pressure control and the burble type sound
