Soft top actuators

My 2005 Spider has found another way to frustrate me!

Hood mechanism has started 'stuttering' and won't fully lift the rear window section. There appears to be some leakage of hydraulic fluid. Looks like an actuator leaking/failed. Any ideas on sourcing replacements at non-mortgage prices? Also, where do you top the hydraulic fluid up - and with what?

Grateful for any help.

Have you actually tried alfa? There pricing is weird. Some things cost a fortume while others you expect to be expensive don't.

As far as I know you need Tutela GI/R, and you can reach the little tank by having both the metal cover and soft top's window lifted.
It should be on the left hand side of the car (at least for LHD).
