Hello, it must be the millon's posting on an overheating issue
If I let the car run, parked, the water bowl starts bowling and radiator stays relatively cold.
I have removed the thermostat as it was easy to do.
Before I get to replace the water pump, which I understand I have to take the cam belt off, which was just replaced and seems a nightmare job, here is my question:
From reading on this forum, apparently a water pump failure should not result in overheating while the car is stationary, but only on motorway speeds?
Would a raditor flush be a better first option?
Thanks for your suggestions.
