Meta alarm anti-hijack feature

Apparently our alarms have the ability to automatically lock the doors when driving off. From M99/36T2 Operating Instructions / Operating Instructions / Vehicle Area / MSYUK / Root folder - Welcome to MetaSystem UK Limited
Anti-Hijack Feature :To protect the driver, passengers and contents from personal attack, the doors will automatically lock whilst the vehicle is being driven.
Does anyone's car do this or know how to enable it?

I think it's enabled in spiders as standard, to stop the car folding in half like a taco while moving

Not an M99 but I recently had my original Scorpion 918U replaced by a new Cobra alarm that has this same feature.

On the Cobra, the alarm has to be connected to the speedometer - on my phase 1 that's very easy with the pulse generator on the gearbox.

So I hooked up the relevant cable to the speedo pulse feed yesterday and enabled the function and the doors now lock when the car starts moving and unlock when the engine is switched off.

That obviously doesn't help you much as far as the M99 is concerned except to say that the alarm may need to be linked to the speedo and this may not necessarily be the case with the factory fit M99.

This topic has been posted before, I remember that you connect a pin on the M99 to the brake pedal, doors lock after using the brake and open when the ignitinn is turned off - my car has this feature enabled.

Aren't there 4 or 5 "jumper" type switches on the back on the META alarm?
