I had the FK Highsport when I bought the car and I must say I hated them badly. The shocks were too soft and the springs made the car too bouncy. I wanted my suspension to be adjustable so finally a friend of mine came with an idea. I bought Konis and transformed the front ones to coilovers by cutting the spring mounting plate and fitting a threaded spring mount from a circuit Cup Leon. At the back I kept the height adjustable mounting from the FKs and fitted the Konis. Finally I got some nice track springs that my friend had in his garage. So now I have Konis in the harder setting (front and rear) and I´m able to adjust the height by 10cm easily for the price of the Koni shocks only. If you wanna compete and dont care about money buy every part separate, kits wont take you anywhere. Camber, hardness, compression and rebound adjustable shocks with adequate springs (hillclimb and track ones are way different) will give you the possibility to set up your car properly.
