Over-eager trainee?

Slight corrosion on n/s front brake disc.
What do you mean? Oh that 5p size brown stain? That's oil.

Well, after 6 + years of ownership I can safely say that there's always been something wrong/broken/needs attention with my GTV . At first I neurotically fussed over it chucking good money after bad in the vain hope that I'd finally get it whipped into shape but after fixing one problem only to get another handful of issues only days/hours later despondency set in and I simply started ignoring the problems. I wrote a list the other day of all the major/minor issues and I'm currently up to 21 faults.

Don't get me wrong, it's been the best and most intoxicating car I've ever owned but it's also been one of the most frustrating and idiosyncratic as well. If I had the time, patience and deep enough pockets I'd never sell it but as I'm faced with another potentially crippling repair bill(s) I think it could be time to cut my losses and move on.

Good luck with your GTV Lazybum, it looks great sat on those rims.
