I'm referring to the top wishbones (The ones with the balljoint) I bought some Powerflex bushes for these, which came with two large washers. No way in this world were they going to fit properly, as there was no space between bush and subframe. I contacted Powerflex about this, and apparently the washers were a packing error.
So this could mean one of two things:
1) There is/was a slightly smaller bush available where the washers would fit
2) There is only one bush and the washers would never be needed
I'm certain at least 3 of us have experienced this on here (not needing the washers). The risk is though, if there is a scenario like number 1 above, and you try and tighten them up with the washers NOT in place, you stand a good chance of cracking the subframe. So I recommended you measure them up and see what you have (A trial fit will highlight whether you need the washer or not)
I'm not certain on the spring pans or transverse arm as I haven't powerflexed these so couldn't comment.
It's things like this which I think would be beneficial in a FAQ.
Spider95 - I'll see what they say, however it can always be hosted somewhere else, there is the dedicated 916 forum elsewhere also. It would save hundreds of posts about the same thing (Of which I'm guilty myself
