Chilling 0-60mph

How fast is the GTv, i understand it is a heavy car so will 0-60 times will not reflect the power of the engine once moving.

If anyone has times given by alfa, times using a GPS, estimated. Please give details of the load of the car or number of passengers. I'm also interested in the top end figures, not what your speedo says, but again GPS/ALFA or even theoretical top end that some boffins have worked out.

any response is appreciated.

Alfa 156 GTA SW

Re: 0-60mph

Which model?
If I remember rightly the official Alfa figure for the 2.0TS was 8.something. Possibly 8.6?

I think in the 156 it's 8.7, the GTV 8.6 and the 145 8.3. Could be wrong on all counts though.
I have no idea what the figures for the V6 are.

Re: 0-60mph

0-100 km/h offical figures
2.0 150hp: 8.5s -1370kg
2.0 JTS 165hp: 8.4s - 1445kg
3.0 218hp: 6.8s - 1490 kg
3.2 240hp: 6.3s - 1520 kg

(weight dependant upon extras and trim level)

But who cares?!
Drive the thing! Its an Alfa not a Merc AMG!!!! Find the perfect line in a curve and give it all its got. Play around in the curve by adjusting the balance with power. Feel it coming alive. Thats driving an Alfa. And with a GTV you can really do that with properly adjusted suspension settings.
Few cars do it as well as the GTV.
