Removing/lowering the spring pan arm
(Ive tried the search and couldnt come up with anything that helped)
Im in the middle of changing the rear suspension - I have done the shocks, they were straight forward
I now need to disassemble/lower the spring pan arms in order to release the spring. I am following the workshop manual and have removed the bolt that connects the arm to the frame (at the front of the wheel arch, near to where the handbrake cable routes). Problem is the bugger wont move.
How exactly do you get the spring pan arm out - I have tried gentle
persuasion, but nothing yet. Just wondering if other who have already trodden this path have any insights?
