The adjustments you make on Konis is for rebound performance only. The adjustments you make should ideally be dependent on the springs you have. Extreme 40mm springs for example like my set up on the 156 needs hard shocks to stop the thing bouncing. 20 to 30mm mid range settings and if you have standard to 10mm you should use soft setting.
Front wheel drive car with a hard setting at the rear will make it tail happy.
After much experimenting I have about a half turn difference between front and back on the 156 (hardest at the rear) and the car is fairly nutral with a slight oversteer (safer option as the wife drives this car).
Experiment, and see what works best for you but keep in mind what I say about the springs for the initial settings.
